With uniform, glare-free, dimmable and colored lighting, your eyes can relax and you can really immerse yourself in the movie.
It is only since iOS 10 that Apple offers the Home app as an interface for HomeKit-enabled accessories – an alternative to apps developed by other manufacturers, including Elgato’s Eve app. Another interface to HomeKit is Siri, a simple and interactive tool that enables you to control your connected home with voice commands via your iPhone, iPad, fourth-generation Apple TV, and Apple Watch.
Using the Eve app, you have access to all Apple-supported HomeKit data such as temperature, humidity, and on/off status, as well as additional information not available via Siri — air pressure, recent energy usage, historical data, and more.
Apple does not offer an app for HomeKit for end users — Siri serves as Apple’s interface for your HomeKit-enabled home. But developers of HomeKit-enabled devices, such as Elgato, offer apps like Eve for the setup and management of your devices. Using the Eve app, you have access to all Apple-supported HomeKit data such as temperature, humidity, and on/off status, as well as additional information not available via Siri — air pressure, recent energy use, historical data, and more.
When setting up a new HomeKit-enabled device, Eve offers to set a Siri name for the device. This is an option you should choose for a better Siri experience later.
